Protecting Jersey City
The Jersey City Fire Officers Association, IAFF Local 1064 and the Uniformed Fire Fighters Association of Jersey City, IAFF Local 1066 are the Unions that protect the men and women of the Jersey City Fire Department who have committed their careers to serving and protecting the residents and visitors of Jersey City.
We are here to work with the elected and appointed officials of Jersey City to bargain collectively and to have all our members work under a negotiated contract. We are proud of our great working relationships that we have built over the years.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to keep all the men and women safe on a day to day basis so they may return home to be with their loved ones. We work closely with the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Professional Fire Fighters of New Jersey to pass legislation in our behalf or to defeat legislation that would be harmful to our members. We attend meeting and seminars to keep up to date with the latest equipment, safety issues, health concerns, training and standards that help our Fire Fighters go home safely.
